Good News, as ‘Enter Air’ starts flights to Colombo , Polish charter airline Enter Air has begun operations to Sri Lanka starting 31st October. Accordingly, two flights from Katoewice and Warsaw arrived at BIA, during today. The airline will operate charter flights twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays, connecting Warsaw and Colombo. This flight schedule will continue until mid-April 2026, aligning with Sri Lanka’s peak tourism season. Other recent additions to Sri Lanka’s air connectivity include Edelweiss (a Swiss holiday airline), Belavia (the national carrier of Belarus), and Red Wings (a Russian airline). While Belavia and Red Wings operate flights to Sri Lanka’s southern Mattala Airport, Enter Air and Edelweiss serve Colombo. Sri Lanka typically experiences a significant increase in tourist arrivals between November and May, with a large share of visitors coming from European countries.
