F3 is the third tier of open-wheel racing in FIA’s global pathway. This position has given him the best stepping stone to reach Formula 2 (F2) and then Formula 1 (F1). This elevation marks and promotes his journey to reach the highest level of the motorsport competition, which is the F1. Who is Yevan David? The 18-year-old was born in the UK to Sri Lankan parents. Born on 11th July 2007, he started driving at the age of 6 with ‘Karting.’ His first win was at the age of 13, when he won the European Heat Karting Race. Made his debut at the Euroformula Open Performance in 2024. Yevan’s recent form consists of multiple wins in the 2025 EFO, a GB3 debut, and an F3 bound in 2026. The Sri Lankan motorsport sensation’s long-term goal is reaching Formula 1, with Ferrari in his sights. Yevan will become the first-ever Sri Lankan driver to compete in FIA Formula 3.
