Bus Service Connecting Colombo Airport with the Expressways , Sri Lanka launches a new bus service connecting the Colombo Airport (BIA) with the Makumbura Multimodal Transport Center (MMC). The new service will enable tourists and Sri Lankans returning from overseas to conveniently travel to their destinations using the country’s public transport network. A total of 16 buses will operate daily from the airport and vice versa. The first bus will depart at 5:15 a.m. and from there onwards every 45 minutes a bus will depart from the Colombo Airport ( BIA) to Makumbura Multimodel Center.
