Accordingly, the Airline will operate flights from Gatwick to Colombo, thrice a week. “The route will operate for the winter season only, taking customers directly to the Indian Ocean island and home to picturesque beaches, scenic wildlife, vibrant culture and rich cuisine,” the Airline added. The British Airways on resumption of direct services to Colombo from London offers customers with three cabin options. World Traveller will be offered for economy class, The World Traveller Plus will be offered to premium economy class and Club World will cover the business class of the airline. Neil Chernoff, British Airways’ Chief Planning and Strategy Officer, said: “We’re delighted toannounce sizable growth to our flying schedule for winter 2026, including two notable newdestinations.” RETURN FARES The Return fares start from £620 (including taxes and carrier fees) and are on sale from 17 March.
