SriLankan Flight Cancellation to Mid-East is still on! , SriLankan Airlines has cancelled flights to the Middle Eastern Region for the third consecutive day from Colombo as the Middle Eastern Airports are either closed or operates partially. As of Monday 2 March, Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) were among the nations that announced at least partial closures of their skies, according to news reports coming from the region. This has forced widespread flight suspensions, cancellations and diversions, leaving tens of thousands of passengers stranded around the world. Sri Lankan Airlines cancelled atleast 10 flights to the region during today and the cancellation is effective until midnight today. Flights to Dubai, Doha, Dammam, Riyadh, and Kuwait and also returning flights from the region has been cancelled until further notice.
